Will interruption to my mail service occur?
If upgrades to your street are being performed, Canada Post, at their discretion, may discontinue mail service to your door; however, you can contact Canada Post at 1-866-607-6301 to confirm where your mail can be picked up.
Will interruption to my waste collection occur?
At this time, we do not anticipate any disruption to waste collection.
Will project work continue beyond 2024?
Based on budgets and funding for the Riverside Meadows redevelopment, work is planned to continue yearly until 2026.
When will my landscaping be completed?
Once our work is complete, we will be returning to repair the landscaping. This will involve a number of different steps to ensure a quality job is done.
First, the excavation will be filled in using the native material that was removed. This will be done to a rough grade and may be left in this state for some time to allow for settlement and to complete the adjacent work, so that the final repairs are not disturbed. The landscapers will later return to complete this work. They will finish grading the excavation, add topsoil and sod the excavated area. At this time, things like retaining walls and sidewalk blocks will also be replaced.
In some cases, the landscape repairs may not be completed in 2024, in which case, this work would be completed in the spring of 2025.
